I chose to pursue a diploma in social work and community development for a number of reasons. The first was to be able to assist the marginalized groups and communities within our country and globally. Additionally, It was to gain practical skills in counselling, case management, crisis intervention and community organization which helps me to support diverse populations. This course also enables me to understand the needs of the community members, develop interventions and collaborate with stakeholders in promoting community wellbeing and development. That is why I am here at K.I.D.S-to gain the knowledge and skills.
